Goal: Create a Magic Show based on Physical and Chemical Properties and Changes. You can also tie in Inertia or Friction to hit the Force and Motion Learning Targets.

Procedure:
1. Research some magic tricks that involve the chemical properties of substances, chemical changes, inertia, and/or friction. Come up with 2 chemistry tricks that would be doable in a classroom and 2 force and motion tricks if you want to hit those learning targets.

2. Prepare an explanation for the tricks. Why do they work? Make sure to tie in the following information to meet the learning targets:
- Identify the elements, compounds, and mixtures used in the tricks.
- Identify the physical and chemical properties of the substances that are used.
- Explain the physical and/or chemical changes that are involved in the tricks.

3. Practice! Gather the materials you need and practice your act!

4. Perform your magic show for the class or you could videotape yourself performing the magic tricks. You can either include your explanation of the tricks in your performance or hand in a separate written explanation.
